Sabriel (The Abhorsen Trilogy)

Sabriel - Garth Nix I've seen these books praised often over the years and I even came close to buying them a few times while in the bookstore, but for some reason I just never did. Recently, though, I picked up all three and the library and just TORE through them. Nix's descriptions are precise and entertaining, his characters charming, and his world-building detailed and interesting. I hope he writes more in this series soon!
