Insatiable

Insatiable - Meg Cabot Cabot satirizes vampire fiction here (with many obvious jabs at the most obvious targets), though satire might be too strong; it's more like business as usual with some gentle parody thrown in for comic effect. Don't get me wrong, this book is fun and it reads fast. I also like that she ultimately chooses neither love interest, though I have to admit that, in this case, I liked the vampire better than the vampire hunter (that guy was just a douche).
